Student FAQs

The Areola Training Academy offers comprehensive training in the art of areola tattooing. Our courses cover everything from the fundamentals of the technique to advanced colour theory and composition. We also provide hands-on practice with live models so that our students can gain the experience necessary to become a successful areola tattoo artist.
Upon completion of our courses, students will receive a certificate from The Areola Training Academy. This certificate is accredited with ABT and you will be able to obtain the necessary insurance to start your new career in medical tattooing.

We travel all over the world to deliver training, so keep your eyes peeled on our socials for upcoming tour dates. However. typically we deliver training in the UK from three hubs in: The Isle of Wight, Southampton and Essex.

No prior experience in areola tattooing is required for our 6-month complete beginner courses. However, for our two-day courses, students will need prior experience in permanent makeup (PMU) or cosmetic tattooing as this provides a helpful foundation for the techniques taught during the course.
